    Didn’t see any today, but as i was leaving I saw a white belly and drove a little closer and there was a big dead buck about 10 yards off the road. I called the neighbors and they said there son shot one during youth season and couldn’t find it. So I’m glad I called and helped the kid find his deer. Always good to help neighbors out and make connections.

    Im still sick and feel crappy when I wake up.. so I skipped this morning. Kinda mad at myself for not getting up and going anyway, but its not the end of the world.

    Well guys, here he is. Not the biggest bull in Montana but I'm happy to put my tag around him. I wish I had found that big bull but things happen for a reason I guess. Walked a lot of miles for the elk that we did see. Had a great week with my dad anyway, and that's really what matters.

    Got an unexpected chance to hunt this afternoon. 2.5 hr sit..private land for only the 3rd time this year. Hoping a big boy comes through that has been unpressured.

    Is it to late to be putting estrous scent out, never had much luck with. I have out more for a cover scent the wind is not in my favor
