bummer! did you actually sight your broadheads in for that distance or field points? I once took out a field point and screwed in a fixed blade head and it was way low. just a thought. any broadhead fixed or mechanical will catch more wind than a field point slowing the arrow speed. just not as arrow dynamic as a field point. I'm sure you already know this but just a thought?

Well I'm in the stand with the orange army for the annual purge here in wisconsin. I have to admit I truly dislike gun hunting. But here I am anyway. My wife's family only gun hunts so I go with them. Always a good time though. Looking forward to some late season bow hunting though!!!!!

I love it. It's 17" wide I think. I don't feel it to be front heavy. It's like shooting a light rifle. Always had good luck with it. Only costs $300 or so too. Great service from the company too. For the price you can't go wrong.

Talked me into it! LOL my recurve crossbow is only 4 1/2 pounds, and is 18” when cocked. However, I don’t trust it over 20 yards. But being on the ground all my shots are within 15 yards.

Back in the box blind for the day. The wind/rain is really putting a damper ;-) on things but I brought two bag lunches to get me through the day.
    Safe hunts Y’all.

I don't ever miss 25 yds and under. I practice out to 55 yds but 40 is my limit. Today's shot was right at the edge of my comfort zone but as everyone can see, one little misjudgment messed a perfect situation up. Operator error will get you every time.

I am thinking about setting out my decoy in the morning. It is trans-gender, lol, so should I set out the buck or doe? It has been gun season for a week in MO now? Opinions?
