Was he cool or still warm? Any other info you can share to help others in the future?

    So far:

    Paunch shot, maybe liver exit?

    20 hour back out=successful recovery

Hit him in front of back leg came out low and mid body. Right behind ribs. Insides were still warm. I believe he died between 4 and 6 this morning.

Finally got a good buck on our cameras this year. He’s a nice 9 point that I’m pretty sure I saw on the last day of the season last year. High pressure, 31 degrees, cut corn field, good wind. Feels like a good day to get one.

I'm leaning towards a pedestal. My buddy says if I don't get him mounted I can't hunt the property anymore. Lol. He's got some barn wood from a barn we tore down on the property that he wants me to build a pedestal stand for. Would be neat to have a piece of the property with him.

In a new spot. Lots of Buck sign. Saw 10 or so Doe in a line on the ridge above me as I was walking in.

Close. But no. 19.5" inside and 24" main beams.

You are close on net score but nets are for fishing and I don't need that kind of negativity in my life.

19.5 inside but I may be off. Outside was around 21 or 22. I was thinking 160 but he's not. His tine length killed him.
