    This is only the 3rd, holy s... just had a deer sniffing. Looked up to see a spike coming my way. Passed at 18 yds. Now I know the distance on that trail.
    He's gone. That's a great path for the wind I have.
    Like I was saying. This is the third time I've hunted this place.

    Wind finally laid, feel like something should be moving but nothing yet. Starting to think already missed it this year when was seeing alot of bucks moving earlier in month and end of Oct. But this weekend should shake things up.

    I had a nice 8 chasing a doe last night at 930pm on the trail cams and a tall 7 the night before harassing a couple fawns around the same time of night. It's still happening.

    Well great first evening. 10-12 Doe, a long spike and then a bigger buck about 100yds out thrashing trees.

    My dad just called, he gave an armpit shave to a 6 pointer. Lots of hair but no blood at all on the arrow and then watched him go out and feed in the field like nothing happened. So close, would have been his 1st with the longbow.
