That is one beautiful deer, although I gotta ask, are you dropping a deuce in that second pic?:eek2: Personally I would have waited to take a dump after the pictures were taken, but when you gotta go, you gotta go I guess. Sure is a shame to soil those sitka bibs though :moose:

    Don't give up, dude. I shot one high with a .270 at 50 yards in the snow. It only ran about 40 yards before it crashed. I did a track job anyway from point of impact to point of death, and there were only 5 or 6 droplets of blood - about the size you're showing on the leaves - and that was in the snow so every droplet was really visible.
