Personally, I wasn't a fan of the real "high" high pressure here today. Sent from my SM-N900V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Working from home and have two fawns and doe out on the lawn again. No bucks though. I think they're moving around looking for the places that are thawed out from the sun with the hard frosts we've had the past 3 or 4 days. It's been a while since it's gotten out of the 30s here and usually in the low teens at night.
The population has just gotten sustainable now. Have only had a season for 2 years, they are more predominant down in southern IL than the rest of the state but they're here. Before that they were illegal to shoot at all. Anti's are all up in arms about it
I took some good video of him too. I just got this trailcam pic of a nice one. And another pic of one with a rabbit in his mouth
I'm heading out a little bit. I have had a trail camera out on a saddle near bedding for over 3 weeks. Going to take a look at it and see whether I should hunt this area or move on. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Well that’s a wrap for me for my Connecticut season. I will be back for more torture here next year, and I’m pretty sure my dad’s going to be out here too! Luckily thanks to my friend Matt I have a place in Rhode Island to continue hunting. Hoping to be back out on Saturday. Good luck to everyone who is out today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have a small 4p that just keeps running all over. I see him 3-4x a sit for the last few days and he has just gone past me again for the 2nd time 2day. He is the best decoy ever.
Well it was a great morning. Saw 4 bucks in total, just no shooters. Now off to work. Good luck to anybody that will be out this afternoon.
