I’m really leaning towards going to fixed blades, I️ have a tendency to hug the shoulder and for whatever reason I️ am really struggling to break that habit, I️ figure a fixed blade might be the best option Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Congrats bro!!!!! That’s an awesome buck! See mike?? This is how we do it!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I had an issue with sticking to close to the shoulder and lost the biggest buck I’ve ever shot a couple years ago. I was using mechanicals then. Shot fixed for a couple of years and this year switched to the grave digger hybrid. 1 inch fixed blade and 1 3/4 mechanical. They did a good job on the buck I shot this year. Something to consider if you like the mechanicals. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Congrats Jman! And I love my grave digger hybrids, little bigger fixed blades and better deployment than the muzzy ones in my opinion. Fewest deer I've seen in a while today, don't know what's up. Work tomorrow anyways. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
I ended up taking the climber into this big valley. Wasn't feeling good about it, but ended up seeing a bunch of deer. Couple of bucks searching pretty hard, but big does still with fawns. Could have shot a fat, lone doe but thought for sure a buck would be with her. No dice, she reconnected with her fawn. Guessing they were separated by one of those bucks. The grind continues!
I shot the muzzy phantom Sc and shot a buck. Heart shot and went 30 yards. The issue I had with fixed is I could not get them to fly true to my field points. Might just be my setup. I practiced with one of the fixed blades but they tore up my target pretty quick. The grave differs fly pretty true to my field points. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I purposely did the same thing this year. Last 2 years I hunted my little place every time Work permitted, regardless of the wind. I was a good day if I seen a deer. This year, I only hunted it 4 times, and only when the wind was good. Had deer every time except 1, and the wind was swirling. I learned a lot this year. And it payed off Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
