    I've been trying to do that myself. Last year I think I had 5 sits, last one was much like this year, top the freezer off.

    Have done 9 1/2 sits this year. Opening day, halloween weekend and this rutcation stint.

    He came in on channel 20, shot him just as he passed ESPN. Busted the back glass but I recovered him in the backyard

    It really wasnt intentional... I usually always try and get a doe early in the season... have actually gotten one opening day the last 2 years, and then not hunted until crops were out/rutcation....but this year no rutcation, absolutely no time off extra, and early season was just too damn hot. We were having 80-90 degree days in october so I said screw that so no to burn out my spots. It paid off, I've seen more deer in those 3 sits then I have in 20 sits previous years... think im gonna start hitting public land for early season and saving my property for november...
