Didn't see a deer tonight. The alfalfa field was like a ghost town....

Tomorrow will be my last hunt before Thanksgiving. These ladder stands are taking a toll on my lower back. Gonna use Sunday to soak in a tub of epsom salts and get ready for the grind of going back to work.

If it's brown it's down pretty much. I'd like to take a doe and hold on to the buck tag, but does are pretty scarce right now. The only one in range today had a spike chasing her around, the other 3 were 45 yds off and headed for bedding.

Would love to see the tank from this afternoon probably a high 130's as an 8 mid 140's if he was a 10. 60yds and nothing I could do but grunt, bet he would dress out a touvh over 200lbs, looked like an electric bull standing there.

You gonna gun hunt? I'll be out with the hand cannon if I don't connect with my bow before then.

What was the angle? Were you onbthe left or right of the camera?

That impact graphic you posted is really hard to tell which of the two green blips is the impact site. He would almost have to be quartering towards pretty good to get lung IMO. Might catch a jugglar or something if it bounces around a lot. Wanted to post something earlier but signal sucks on stand.

No, stopped doing the lottery a few years ago and bought them when they went on sale OTC. Morgan county sold out first, didn't even have antlerless.

I'll be doing lottery next year
