My wife is so silly, she thinks I’m done hunting for the year now LOL Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My wife got mad at me for wanting to hunt so much much when I should be unpacking ... can you believe that ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Since I tagged out so early my wife is just waiting for me to disappear for about a month. It starts back up Sunday, for me. Sent from my SM-G930V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I have never used one before in the woods. I don't know why but I'm stubborn and kind of like the idea of having to judge the distance of the shots. But to be honest with you my depth perception as I'm getting older is not as good. I am seriously considering getting one for next year to get more confidence in my shots. Because when I'm at home shooting I shoot well all the way out to 40 yards. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Yep some days it is borderline crazy what we do... getting up hours before sunrise...sometimes leaving a warm body laying next to you in bed...just to go sit in a tree and freeze our butts off and sit in uncomfortable conditions just to try and out wit an animal... last weekend I️ skipped out on a family dinner all because I just had a feeling that I️ needed to be in that tree that evening...of course that feeling usually doesn’t pay off like it did, that’s what makes it crazy... because we all hope for that one second for things to change... that’s why we do what we do... I have one. It's strictly for confidence. It eliminates the "what if". Sent from my SM-G930V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I’m great at judging distance on the ground in the open... but 20ft up, at different angles it’s a whole different story... I️ use mine to just figure out some landmarks around my stand and then can use my judgement from there...it definitely makes me feel a little more confident in knowing the distance for sure... Agreed. Better to take a shot you have confidence in. Probably was the best choice in the long run. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is the exact reason I always have mine with me. Sent from my SM-G935V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

Switched stands as planned, switched right back. Too much tunneling of the winds in between the ridges. Something is gonna happen, I can sense it. Have to remind myself I've already put one down. Tender vittles is what its about now
