Congrats man! In the ass huh? Well, maybe we've been doing it all wrong all these years. Almost a Texas Heart Shot.
Wait until tomorrow, you will find that deer! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

You’ll find him, did you have chunks of stomach matter to track? 3 years ago I️ shot a buck with a shwacker and hit him in the stomach, followed guts for about 75 yards and found him stiff as a board, that nap doublecross will put him down, I’m confident you’ll find him! Good luck in the morning Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
You can never tell until you look, there's always a chance. I've found them after being gut shot before, dead as a hammer. May have a long rough track job or you may find him in 100 yards. Longest successful track job I've had on a gut shot deer was a little over a mile and a half but he was pushed hard the night before.
Go in the direction he was headed and take the path of least resistance from there, headed towards water if there is any near by... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Horrible pic, but here she is. Dropped her off at the processor and still have to get ready for tomorrow. Yay, 4 hours sleep again!
There is a large creek bed not 300 yards away!! Should I check there? I found a dead buck there once actually Mike4christ 2016 Bear Escape Easton FMJ 6mm NAP Doublecross
Been hunting hard here in Illinois on public land. I've seen several small bucks and this afternoon I had 130" buck chase a doe 50yds from my stand. I believe the rut is starting to pick up. I'm not able to post from the stand due to not having good cell service. Anyway good luck guys.
