Everything sounds good Joe! If you saw lots of blood, I bet that deer is dead within 100 yards! Good luck on the track, this deer is yours!
My dad is going to be here in about an hour to walk the blood trail with me! Excited that he’s coming out here Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Fred what are you doing! You can't be missing deer this time of the year! Sorry buddy I know how it feels, it happened to me last week. Plenty of time for redemption!
Best of luck to you Joe. I can't think of a more deserving hunter. You definitely put the time in! Pulling for you! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
OMG!! I look away for a couple of minutes, and the world paused for a minute!! JOE SHOT A DEER!!! Good luck with the loin cloth and the knife!!! Go get'em Joe!!
Wind is shifting here a bit, making me nervous. This spot was rocking this morning, don't want to booger it up The one I missed had no idea what happened, just walked off
That's just not a good image...Joe in a loin cloth and knife. Remember folks - we have seen the shower and it was not good! LOL We are all rooting for you Joe! but keep the ghille suit on.
That is incredible! I am fascinated with raptors, I love watching them from the stand and think they are by far the coolest animals on the planet. I usually have a few red tails that keep me company while hunting, but have never seen a Golden Eagle before, let alone have it dive on anything! Very cool!
Pulling for you Joe, will be nice to have your Dad with you too. Good luck of anyone I know here you have earned that buck.
I get to say it, WAY TO GO JOE!!! Sounds like a dead deer to me, there are alot of large blood vessels in the ham, so even if you knicked/missed the femoral artery, it is still probably lethal. with immediate "blood gushing" I am willing to bet he made it under 100 yards
Out on the main trail waiting for my dad. I’ll definitely keep everyone updated! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
