    Just can called and then grunted a small 5 or 6 in. I can honestly say I had my release connected and ready to shoot. He looked dead at me in my tree but never bolted, but never gave me a shot either. I am just saying if he does I will take it. Long drought!

    I miss the leaves!

    10° when I woke up this morning. Hoping to get my wife another deer this weekend and then i'll be back out with the bow. Finished field work at 4am this morning so that should hopefully help the cause. Could go ice fishing this weekend as we're getting measurable ice here in MN.

    Haven't done that in a long time. Oh well, they have to win some of the battles.

    Sick to my stomach right now, just saw my first deer of the year, small fork...Came in perfectly over the Run I was watching worked a licking branch 15 yards away broadside, I make the meh sound to stop him. He stops soon as I go to shoot he start walking again my arrow goes right in the ham.........I did see blood gushing out though, so I’m hoping maybe I caught the artery.
