Hard a buck snort wheezing and grunting chasing a doe before first light , that was fun. No deer seen yet Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Man this year has been wild. Hung this set yesterday. Had a buck grunting a bit this morning and then had a doe walk out into this field solo. Texted my buddy that a buck might be with her and sure enough out steps a beautiful 9 point. He wasn’t leaving her no matter how hard I tried. Amazing how many buck encounters I’ve had this year. Probably 8-10 different occurrences. Nothing to show for it but lucky to have experienced this.
Just had a wide 9 walk under me.. No mass at all tho. I let him walk Sent from my SM-G935U using Tapatalk
Day 4 has started better than the rest. Small 4 pt on the move. A group of our guys are on a lease north of me in MO and 4 guys saw 100+ deer yesterday while the rest of us saw very little. One hot doe makes all the difference. Good luck today! Sent from my XT1710-02 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
A cold am in the northeast. Been quite here since climbing in at 5:45. Frost is starting to melt off, I’m hoping that spurs some activity. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just had the biggest buck I've ever seen while hunting Chase a doe past me. No chance for a shot. The day is young. Great day to be in a tree
I should probably stop acting like I'm a big deer slayer and shoot one of these 120-130's Sent from my SM-G935U using Tapatalk
1 squirrel so far. He was cruising down wind of the squirrel bedding area. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Tried something different this morning, called in breakfast about 5 minutes ago. Going to give it 10 minutes then go see if its ready. Everything tells me it will be, but always that bit of lingering doubt.
Funny man! Must be nice to have one in the bag and sit and drink HOT coffee I have a squirrel remodeling his house above me. Love it I can't hear a thing but him rippin up every tree branch in sight Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Only a little spike so far for me on the deer but I had an incredible experience!! I am hunting an old river slough that I have hunted for 16 years now and this morning I am hunting between the levee and the slough in a pinch 50 yards wide between 2 bedding areas. I see pretty good size ripples in the water and then am able to see 2 river otters! They are around here now but I have never seen one before. Then out of nowhere a golden eagle crashes in the water and it is chaotic for a moment and the eagle finally flies off without a kill. I have hunted for almost 30 years have never seen a river otter, and only a handful of golden eagles. Amazing experience Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Seems like I’ve seen this picture circulate in previous years... no doubt a huge bear, just don’t think it is from the year... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
