    Well, interesting finish, 8 or came in at the end, wasn't interested in rattles. Wife had a doe sneak behind her. As were pulling back on the gravel to leave we almost hit the largest buck I have seen yet out there, the 12 or the landowner was talking about. Damn nice deer. At least I know he is there!

    Semi-south, Clay county, for 2-3 days depending on the action.
    Then, Jackson Co way down S of Carbondale for about 5 days. Then back to Clay for the gun season.
    By then, I'm usually zombified

    I hear ya, whiskey ain't never tasted so good as it does right now.

    Looking firward ti sleeping in tomorrow and back at it Friday. Friday will be interesting, hiw much patience I'll have and all. I would love to put two mature bucks down in a season.
