Might get down soon this wind is crazy, might go try walking a little in some state game lands, maybe get back in the timber and the wind won’t be as bad, might try some rattling there

Well the rutcation came and went. Only had the weekend plus monday and tuesday. Hunted for over 30 hours those 4 days. Not a ton of action. Saw maybe 20 deer total and 16 of those were in the span of like 2 hours. Passed on a small 10 pointer (maybe 115-120") saturday evening that Im kind of regretting now. I will be back at it this weekend. Good luck out there boys.

Strangely quiet here this morning. Not at all what I expected.

Had a doe fawn come in between legal light and sunrise. Scented me and bound off without blowing.

About 7:15 had a lone mature doe(good sign) coming down the path in front of me. She picked me off from 60yds, turned back and bolted. Stopped at the property line and blew 3 times.

I muttered the 4 letter C word and sit in wait.

    Ideal conditions finally

PA is becoming a sleeper state. Starting to see the fruit of Gary Alts plan. Cameras don't lie.

    Finally!

Just had a 2 1/2 6 or 8 come down trail mature doe was on, cut into woods. Heard him coming through woods in front of me but it ended up being a small doe being chased by little 4pt.

    Giing silent

Having thoughts of hanging a new set prior to my afternoon hunt. I hate the idea of hanging a new stand this time of year but it might be my best play at this point. I’ve watched from this stand 5 out of my last 6 hunts and have a decent idea whats going on.
