Woke up and it was raining so I went back to bed. The rain is supposed to stop by 10 so I am gonna head out around noon for the rest of the day. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
More big bucks shot on November 7th than any other day of the year! Back in MI and working today. I'll be able to get out this afternoon. Neighbor saw a nice 10 by my stand last week. Hit 'em hard boys.
Right at shooting light about 60-80yds away in front of me(20-40yds inside the tree line) I hear crashing/running and about 10 snorts. I started to wonder what spoked it since I have the wind blowing behind me. I give a few grunts and it snorts 2 more times I wait for a while and nothing. So I think it’s walked off. As that small 8p comes in and starts going away to my left I grunt a few times to see his reaction and as I stop I get a few more snorts from in the tree line again. Wait and nothing. I’ve not called for about 15min and just minutes ago I hear several snorts and running/crashing from in the tree line. Something has been in there for over 2hrs but won’t come out. Ive no idea what to try next since every 15min I have done some calling in every different sequence I can think off.
Just saw a really good buck at about 100yds. He wasn't coming towards me so I blew the call in hopes of changing his direction. It changed his direction all right. He turned and ran back the way he came. He didn't have near the fight in him as the spike I saw earlier that ran towards me when I blew the call. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
65yds away and I grunt twice and then comes in to 10yds. Big difference from yesterday. In the background is the tree line from the mysterious snorts
He is probably tending a doe... maybe try a snort/wheeze, maybe a light rattle, but if he is tending you are probably at her mercy until she lets him breed her. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm up. Didn't spook anything coming in, did see one down the pond levee hop into the woods. Estrous and wicks fell out of my pocket. Hoping at the truck We'll see what happens
