Congrats Holt! Nice deer. After a very slow day 1, hoping for a little action. A few guys in our group had sightings, but no arrows flew. Good luck guys! Sent from my XT1710-02 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Just had a spike come through at about 60yds. I blew the call just to get his reaction and he bristled up and turned and came right toward me on a trot. He must be feeling his oats this morning Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
Light switch turned on. 6 doe and a decent buck in the last 15 mins. Buck was likely a shooter couldn’t rattle him in too far out and too windy.
So I've seen 4 or 5 different small bucks cruising around in the last two days. That usually a sign that things are about to start Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
On the road, gonna pick up some estrous. Don't really believe init myself, but enough people do so what does my opinion matter? Weird having optimism all of a sudden
Congrats! That is what I like to see when I follow from the couch. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Lol...another mature buck just came by. If he veered left I could have shot. Nope Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Now I understand why you didn't want to tell her you were going hunting! Seriously?...trying to date a PETA girl. Might as well try to hook me up with a vegan!
Awesome Holt... nice easy track it looks like!! Great buck congratulations my man!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Doe and two fawns at first light. Passed a pretty nice buck about 30 minutes later. Think it was the same one I passed last Friday. Finally picking the last corn field yo the East, gotta help I would think. Goal for today is not hear or see any coyotes! If the trend continues I'm going to have to skip a deer hunt and teach them some manners. Usually leave them alone until mid December but this has been ridiculous. Nothing here yet. I heard a fawn bawling on my walk in, that was it as far as deer? The squirrels aren't doing much either? Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
As long as they are not a crazy peta type vegan it’s not bad... dated a girl before my wife that was vegan, but was ok with what ever I ate and never tried to sway me one way or another. She even enjoyed the smell of a steak on the grill. She understood it was food, and she understood the need for hunting... but my guess is she was in the minority of vegans like that...
