    Full moon 2 nights ago.. I think they move more at night. I hate hunting right around a full moon but they will be out soon anyway.

    I moved back into the ridges. Wind be damned, can't be any worse. Think I'm going to sit my old ambush stand in the morning. Don't think anyone has sat it in a season and half. Have to grt in a bit early to check straps and implement plan b if straps are bad

    Sitting in my 3rd different stand for the day, I just don’t have great spots for east wind directions gona have to change that next year

    I found these 2 scrapes which look less then 24hrs old 1 at 20yds and 1 at 10yds and this day Walker at 20yds

    I've been watching Spirit of the Wild with Teddy Nugent. He says "Aim small, miss small"...today was the first time I said that to myself before I took the shot. I really feel like it helped slow me down a bit.

    Just had it out with someone in a fb group I manage.. they took a quarter to shot (lost the deer) and I explained you should never take that shot and what shots to take and to let them walk if you dont get that opportunity. They went on to tell me they would take any shot because they dont have much time to hunt and need to put meat in the freezer. What is wrong with people now'ah days? So many have no morels anymore.
