Ok I cannot do this anymore. Going to switch farms. It’s about 1 mile away so should be back in the stand in about 30 min.

Haha. Good news is I have a cam on video mode over a mock scrape/rubbing tree and got video of a few nice bucks and one huge 10 pointer using it all during afternoon hours within the past few days. Ok I guess I will go back to that stand...

You are describing all 5 of my hunt last week in Southern Indiana.

Not sure where they are hiding, but it is a good spot!

Maybe ol Alsheimers onto something with the rutting moon. Pretty sure this full moon is the 2nd since the autumn equinox, would place the peak of the rut 2 weeks later which would be gun season here.

It's really weird because usually you see alot of the male fawns out meandering about. All I see are groups of 3 or more most times.

I just don't get it, it's November 6th for crying out loud. Really making me think about sitting all day the next couple days.

I'm thinking the same thing. I'm also not liking that. He's bound to be right once in a while.

Other than a young 10 and a spike today has been so painfully boring and slow.

This summer and early fall we had a good number of does around with fawns. I don't know where they all went. Usually I at least have several young dumb buttons and spikes all over this time of year but nothing.
