    When you give an idiot a crossbow, idiotic things happen. A weekend of impatience ended in a lost buck. If you don't think anything about archery until the night before you go out, bad things happen. Practice isn't an option, but a must. I called it a few days ago, this weekend was an absolute cluster.

    Well the issue should be resolved. The lady said I just spooked her and she was mad about that. Didn’t know the property sold. When he explained who I was she calmed down and promised not to do it again so here’s hoping. Been in the stand about an hour. Just passed the biggest deer I have ever passed. Thinking he is a big 3 year old. Hope he makes it he is lucky I filled one of my buck tags lol I know there are monsters here and I’m holding out. Little forky just walked in as I’m writing this so I’m off. Good luck fellers![​IMG][​IMG]

    A week straight of hunting finally caught up with me. Lol. Hunted for three hours this morning and had to head home to get kids here and there. Wife's bball season hits high gear at this time of the year. Hunting for a few hrs tomorrow morning when the temps are still terrible. But Tuesday they begin to change to great temps. I'll be hunting all day Tues, Wed., Fri., and hopefully Saturday.

    .........I'm hibernating right now. Gonna eat like 30,000 calories today and just sleep in the woods like a wild animal all week.

    I hate Fall Back, ut the upcoming temps I will deal with.

    Hughs in the 40's lows in the 30's for the duration of my rutcation. Might take a thermos of hot chocolate a few times.

    Hopefully tomorrow is the day!

    Well almost a full day sit, had to run out for 2 hours for a meeting. Only thing I saw all day was a button buck right at last half hour of light. What a long day!
