The boys have hockey early and late, so I'm not hunting today. Good luck everyone! Sent from my SM-N900V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Not the giant but a big buck was coming on a B line down the corn then he winded me at 50 Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Not that this will help, but the one I shot stayed on trails most of the time. He only crossed a fence when it was one he could practically step over. I'd check the edge of that timber in front of you to see if there is any blood on things that are up off the ground, buck brush, foxtail, anything that is tall. Mine didn't want to lay down. 6" of the arrow was still in him. Sent from my SM-N900V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Good luck to everyone today. Beautiful morning to hunt here in western MA but since it's not legal to hunt on Sunday, I'll have to follow along with all of you that can. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I'm on stand, got setup late. Shoot light was up just as I finished setting up. Good luck guys, this a perfect day where I am today!
4 does just milled around at 40 yds for 15 mins. One finally caught my scent and lightly blew. They all just fed and walked off. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
It's good you two are having some encounters, all quiet here. The ground is so wet, I'm never going to hear anything walking in here. Alenhard15 what did you see?
Pretty sure it was this guy coming down the doe of corn going to walk by at 28... either winded me or the coyotes out in another field and turned around, it was going to be textbook!! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Well I’m having an interesting morning. Drove the four wheeler down to the new property for the first morning sit. All excited. The lady who lives across the road starts yelling at about how she is “tired of all you numb nut hunters shooting my cats and dogs, and if I can hear you don’t you think the animals can?”. Well I couldnt see her and I definitely wasn’t going to go walking on to this lady’s property or start a yelling match so I just got ready as normal and got in my stand. 10 min later she is blaring wolf howls and lion roars over load speakers. Right at first light I get down walk back to where her driveway starts and say excuse me a couple times fairly load thinking maybe just talking to her will help. No answer the sounds just get louder. I’ll try again on my way out hopefully we can come to a agreement if I promise not to shoot her pets. Lol. If not I am on a first name basis with the local game warden. Hope it don’t come to that though. May have finally stopped while I’m writhing this. The last ones were dinosaurs from Jurassic park lol I was mad at first but I’m over it now. Good luck everyone especially those tracking!!! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
What did the footage look like? That was pretty good blood for a back hit, as long as it wasn't too far back.
Had this little spike come in this morning, rubbed trees right in front of my stand hopefully good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Next time it happens get out your phone and record it, crazy cat lady could become crazy tree stand strap cutting lady. Get evidence of it happening and report her, there's wackos in this world anymore and it sounds like you are dealing with one.
