It's the drive there, not the hunt

I'd still be above .08 for sure

What started as a cold, windy, wet, miserable sit ended up being one of the best sits of the year for me. Had 4 different bucks come by and two doe. Small 8 and two little fork 4 pointers and a decent little 10 that I passed on. Which are words I never thought I'd say. Was real young and only about 115 inches if I had to guess. Great first day of rutcation. Congrats to all those that got one today. Good luck tomorrow!!!

Full story later. It's a crap pic but we were tired since he died IN the river. Guessing low 120's. Didn't measure anything yet.

Just keep it up. I shot mine at 18:45 last Friday, and found it at 14:45 Sunday. I can tell you all about stress. My wife was a tremendous help!
He was in the creek on the neighbors.

So many here have dealt with the emotions you are dealing with tonight. Lots of guys here sending positive energy your way in whatever form they can send it. We all watched Foodplot come out on the plus side. Hoping that positive sign you had to start is a precursor of good things to come.

Had a good night. Saw about 12-14 total passed on the does to wait on bucks to come in the plot. And that they did. Had 2 different 2.5 yr olds and a 3.5 yr old pestering the does bad. Big boy never stepped out. Guy I’m hunting up here with shot a biggun but we tracked for a mile then backed out. We weren’t pushing him I just think arrow stuck in him and he wasn’t bleeding. We will pick up the trail tomorrow

Well I aint had much luck with a bow but coulda took one out with truck tonight coming home from dinner at sister and brother in laws house ha. Bout 1/4 mile from home passed one of biggest bucks probably seen right on edge of road. Lucky he wasn't in road seeing as was in my 500 dollar truck drive back and fourth to work, joking of course. Either way between you guys on here and seein him starting to rethink sitting out tomorrow.
