Not very fun riding a big ass piece of metal sometimes in the middle of no where with nothing else around either... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Back on stand in Columbia Wisconsin. 3 bucks this morning...one shooter I blew a chance on. Moved 3/4 miles east-call it New Wood stand. Still a drizzle. Brother is 1/4 north in the Best Western stand. Good luck.
I’m hoping it’s my old mans turn, he’s been getting frustrated he had off all week to hunt and only had illegal bucks close enough to shoot! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
GF and I pushed small buck out of field to get to stand. Hopefully we get so more action. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The one I shot today was rank. Hocks were black and neck was swollen as hell, nothing in his stomach at all. Crazy how localized the rut is.
Uggg... can't hear anything walking with all the rain dripping.... still a great day to sit . Although I'm not soaking wet yet either.... Sent from my SM-G935R4 using Tapatalk
Heard a noise in the woods aways. Too loud to be anything but a deer. I wasn't going to do any calling for an hour; let scent settle. But heard the noise, so what the heck. JUST after I bleat, see fawn doe in front of me , comes towards me, pees 5 yards in front of me, I turn around to watch her go west and there's a doe 5 yards behind me - she must have made the noise. Probably spooked and separated when we walked in.
It’s definitely going on in Illinois. Had bucks chasing does yesterday and last weekend the one I shot stunk bad lol Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
