    If your arrows around 30” half penetration should get it done. Waiting a few hours is usually the right call if you dont see them go down

    I'm no expert by any means but on my way home I saw a handful of dose out either in a group at 2 or by themselves with no bucks in tail I'm not saying the ruts not starting but I don't know if they're quite there yet

    Now that my Son's buck is taking care of, I can head back out. Tryn finish what set out to do. Kill one myself.


    I'm so proud of my son. Good shot , little high but at 11 yards it's probably going to be a little high. 80 yard track job.

    Dad's on cloud 9. He is hooked, I have hunting partner for the rest of my life. I wish you could see the smile on my face.
