Moon and day light deer activity.... I take little stock in people's opinions. People are easily swayed by little occurrences they experience. Any decent study I've read shows little, if any, correlation between moon phase and daytime deer movement. Deer go into the rut because of the photo period-they must in order to insure birthing at the proper time. How cold temperatures affect deer movement is a different story. This is the rut. You have limited opportunities to sit all day. Don't allow other's experiences to take away yours. The fact this a debate is an indication of weak evidence. But, what does this statistician know...shut up and hunt!

Tried rattling a bit this morning and nothing. Not surprised because I don't think I have ever rattled in a buck. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Only thing I pay attention to. Is it deer season- Is it November- All the reason I need to be in a tree... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Same small doe came in and disappeared, trying to convince myself to sit until at least noon. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Found the arrow, it broke off just at the fletching, blood all the way up the shaft. There is a plant here absolutely coated in bright blood. The whole stock is coated. I think he might have broken off the last 3" of arrow on a sapling which caused the splatter. So far so good! Here is a side by side of an intact arrow and mine Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
