Ugh, nothing after the basket 8. Sucks hunting well in the woods in the evening. All the deer movd through rather early as fields are a property over. Seen no rutting activity, deer were in the fields and looled like any other day, does and maybe a small buck or 2. Have to decide what to do tomorrow and might sit Sunday out. Supposed to be warm and humid with severe weather later on in the afternoon. If I decide to sit Sunday out I may shoot a doe tomorrow and get it over with. Need one in the freezer so I can get rid of last yeard(jerky and snack sticks). Use Sundays rain to wash the area if I do.
14 1/2 hours later, finally back home. All in all had 21 sightings. Only 3 bucks and none older than 1 1 /2. Not complaining about my day, but 17 of the sightings were the first 3 hours.
Got skunked this evening. Did see 7 deer in the alfalfa as we were walking out but to dark to tell what they were. The full moon isn't doing anybody any favors... Congrats Motive! Good luck with the recovery!
