Hunting some land here in RI! Shout out to My good friend Matt, screen name smitty0220, for the hook up! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
So good news/bad news... Just had a pretty good encounter with a nice buck chasing a doe hard. He was definitely all rutted up. Neck was huge.. Bad news... This was in west central Illinois, between Burnside and Laharpe... I don’t hunt in Illinois. And I had that encounter from a moving train... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My vacation starts Thursday, but man, Monday Tuesday Wednesday look beautiful. If I can, I just may have to bail early!
Next week is looking amazing!!! Tomorrow isn’t going to get very cold but it will be cool all day only getting to mid 50s, I think I will sit all day if I can, going to need to pack lots of snacks! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I Won't be hunting tomorrow because I told my parents I'd take tomorrow off so I could watch my sisters while they show our house and because I have to go to my grandparents house to celebrate my little sisters Bday.
Crazy how thick it still is. Sitting a stand I can see pretty good watching for cruisers. I can't see more than 10 feet into the woods. Been times where I could see deep into the woods early rut. Going to be December before that happens. Oddly, not a lot of scrapes yet either. Have seen a couple, but not as many as years past
Just got setup for evening first time out since tuesday. Seen lots of bucks chading here from road just need then to work by the stand.
Quick opinion question...wife is hinting she wants to go out with me tomorrow. Don’t have any 2 man stands up, and don’t have my blind out... better to just sit on the ground in natural cover, or try to brush in the blind and use it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
