Just got set up in the stand, it’s too perfect of a November day to not be out the high for the day is 50, cloudy out and there is a light mist every now and then, a doe kicked out about 50 yards from the stand, only have a buck tag left for this area in PA so hoping for a big one to come through, I’m hoping he comes to freshen up his scrape with the little bit of rain we’ve been having

Just sat down and a 2.5yr old 8pt walked under me.

 

Ugh class needs to hurry up and get over so i can get out into the stand. Hope i can sneak in without bumping anything.

 

Between my buddy and I we've seen 11 bucks in 2 days

 

The rain stopped 3 hours ago. Was hoping they would start moving. So far one little 3 point fed through at twenty yards nothing else yet. I'm here till dark or a deer which ever comes first.

 

Just got out in the stand. I'm going after a really cool and crazy 9 point! Had him on my trail cam a couple of days ago. Hopefully he'll come out for me.​

 

Damn, in two days I might see two bucks and 11 squirrels

 

It isn't funny at all Holt, but I had to chuckle when I read this. I live this every time a deer comes out. It goes away much quicker with does, fawns, and little bucks but it happens. I have to tell myself to take a deep breath and relax. I noticed that it was better the other night, when I shot the buck we tracked for 2 days, but it obviously wasn't perfect. I still shot the buck too far back.
I'd definitely have to agree that we never stop growing and learning about being a bow hunter!!

My buddy is .25 mi from me and just had a decent 3.5yr old cruise by.

It's time to be on stand boys and girls!

 

Of course it is...I’m at work and with no chance of taking any vacation time at all...
