Mother Nature trying to deter me. Looking like a chance at severe weather Sunday and Monday. Going to hunt hard Saturday in hopes of some good movement.

    2 1/2 days left.

Seen a 8 pointer I would like to shoot about 30 min ago, 50 yards away no shot, had a yearing 10 yards away I let walk. Hoping the 8 pointer makes his way over here, I have a slick trick that wants to meet him.

I would! First and foremost I hunt to fill the freezer. Antlers are just a bonus. I might be out Saturday to shoot another buck or doe and I’m taking a day off work next week and I will shoot either.

Just got out but they were moving this morning. Saw 4 bucks , 2 doe. Only shot opportunities were bucks (no tag). Does were on the move trying to keep from being harassed. Can't wait to get back out tomorrow. Get after them, I'll be watching while sitting in class. Good luck!

Just had two 1.5s poke through - where's those big nannies or my shooters lingering at?

Well my phone didn’t stay in my pocket too long lol. Nothing to report here. Im in the middle of the Mississippi River on public ground looking over a clearing where 2 yrs ago I saw the biggest deer I’ve ever seen on stand. The big boys are here just gotta be on point when they come out.

If for some reason it was a high lung hit, could have mostly bled internally... look for kicked up leaves if you know where it ran. Also look for glistening spots on leaves where he was maybe blowing out snot and stuff from not being able to breath. If there is water near by. Head that direction from last
    Known location.

Not in the stand this morning but saw a 155 - 160" buck locked down on a doe off the side of a 4 lane road just a minute ago. That is the biggest buck I have seen this year showing that behavior

Good luck ridgerunner! I'm out of the woods for the day. I rattled in 3 different bucks this morning, one was borderline shooter but like pastor Jim (no buck tag ). Had an awesome morning. Good luck to the all day sitters. They are moving!

Congrats to Allenhard15. Ridgetunner3 I hope you find him. Snow here in Southern Michigan but work has me out of the woods today. Hoping to get back out tomorrow. Sounds like a great day out there for those of you that are out. Good luck!

That's what I like to hear. Great determination. Too often when we lose blood, it's because they made a sharp turn.
