60 MPH gusts are pretty rough. Be careful if you decide to try it. I don't think I would , but that is me.
I went for it. If it's too crazy I'll go home haha Sent from my SM-G920V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I feel your pain... I’m live from the cab of a locomotive. In Laharpe now then headed back to Keokuk, only by the time I get back it will be dark.. I won’t get back out till this weekend unless I somehow end up with a day off midweek... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pics please! What RR do you work for again? My secondary passion is model railroading/and rail fanning Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Here she is cant thank you guys enough for help. Its a great resource to have many minds that think a like.
Just a local shortline. We service a syrup factory in Keokuk iowa, not sure if you ever made it over there when you were here hunting, we also run a train out of Peoria Illinois and meet in Laharpe Illinois, which is not too far from where you hunted, and we service a couple of corn elevators in between. As for a picture best I can do right now is inside the cab.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Remind to take pictures off all the trees down around one of my stands the next time I hunt it... makes me nervous every time there is a stiff breeze.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm in an enormous spruce so I feel pretty safe even if I am close to 30' Sent from my SM-G920V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app

Well the good news is that I saw 3 deer the bad that they were already at my stand as i Was coming in. Didn't think they would be moving at 3. Now there somewhere in the goldenrod behind me the same way the wind is blowing
I love seeing all the different terrain and different set ups everyone hunts over. Keeps me going on my 24 until I can get back out tomorrow afternoon. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Here is my best rendition of the path that Tracker took. It doesn't show the ups and downs but it shows the path that he took, the stand I was in the location of the shot and the place that he ended up.
