Trying to figure out what the difference between yesterday and today is. Seems yesterday deer were on their feet all day long and mature bucks sighted. Today it seemed to drop way off for most. Pressure here looked to hold steady through the daylight hours. Anyone have any insight? I follow the weather but have never really hunted because of it other than cold fronts and snow which was more for me and hopes deer would move.
Yesterday here was raining and damp the rest of the day. Today is picture perfect, unless you’re hunting. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
At 5 am this morning and only a couple miles from where I hunt there was someone standing in the road wearing all black with a white mask. It was creepy!
Getting ready to head out. Trying to decide where to sit. Keep seeing alot of bucks in stand sat in last night but they aren't coming into where it's possible to get a shot. So may try another stand thats close to same area only it's in a wooded draw they may be passin through to get to fields keep seeing them in. Too bad can't be to places at once ha. Why is it every one of your posts lately ends in suspense? Knock it off!! Congrats! That's a hell of an encounter. Glad the temps were ideal for such an event.
Back in. Who knows what will cruise thru this place but there has been a steady rotation of deer so far. Just no shooters. Come on lady luck. Be safe folks! Sent from my SM-G935V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
