Can’t believe there’s nothing moving here in NJ, maybe it’s the gusty winds

Well that was a debacle trying to get in...looks like someone sprayed miracle grow around this stand, it is super thick... huge thorns and covered in burrs but I’m set up. Got fields on 3 sides of me, set up 10-20 yds in the timber...already have movement around me but can see what they are...

Had stare down with little deer on way in couldn’t tell buck or doe. Had a 2yr old buck cruise by from downwind and he was drinking in the air. Gotta credit scentcrusher and ddw on that one. He milled around for a min the skated on. Turkeys flew down all around me and I’m listening to the Canadian geese go crazy. Man I love this stuff!

No movement at all this morning. There has been a light steady rain since sunrise. Which by the way was not in today's forecast! Thank goodness the gear I wear is that softshell stuff that is semi water resistant.

    No shots yet.

Let me preface the day. Bib legs were wet yesterday because of swamp. Didn't want them to be wet today because they'd freeze and be noisy. I hung them over boot dryer last night. Gave up on trying to be scent free.

Walked in- used some doe in heat. Situated by 610. Shooting light is 700. Within 10 minutes hear deer along field coming down hill. Then I hear deer in corn. They meet up. One rubs right behind and grunts...sounds young. Maybe could be 4 pointer.

At 630 hear deer to north in thick stuff. Walks right in front of me - little 6 or 8. Freshens up scrape 30 yards away. He grunted also.

Saw a little buck 45 minutes ago 50 yards away.

10 minutes ago 2 does and 2 fawns came downhill through the woods worked 7 yards in front of me. Buck following them stayed behind me. Little 4 point.

Huge flock of blackbirds just setup camp across the field. It's almost defining. These pics don't due the group size justice.
