LOL! I’m done for the day. My own fault I should not have been trying to do all day sets this early in the year.

    Good luck everyone

Back at it for the evening. Hovering around 35 degrees. Wind supposed to calm as the evening goes on. Feels like a killin' night. Treestand selfie!!!

Ha ha! I just had a group of 3 bobcats come to the edge of the thicket I am sitting on. The lead cat stoped and stared at "Pat" for about 5 minutes. It was cool. I figure this thing will take about 1 pouncing from something and that is all she wrote!

Three weeks ago I was exactly where you are right now. You need to shake it off and get back out there.

Yeah, it sucks but it happens. Don't let it get to you and psych you out. Like everyone says, that's hunting.

    I hear a deer moving.....

Just got into stand from what should have been 15min took 50!!! Jumped 2 bucks both shooters about 100yds from my stand. Then when I got to the stand jumped 2 does 10yds from my stand. As I was half way up 1 came back at about 20yds and I froze while she walked around for 10 min. At least she walked away from me this time.

Dont remind me ha, I'm not much of a early morning person. This year might not be bad tho, we been meeting up at 6 for work all year so been getting up at 5 or littl before. Luckily for me my hunting ground is 5 miles from house so if everything goes right shouldnt haveta get up to much ealrier than have been.

    Add for everyone else:
Just got all set up around 245-3. Sitting in the bottoms should be good for wind and back st spot saw the 3 bucks last last Sunday. See what happens but got plenty of layers and my thermos with coffee so should make it till dark. Good luck everybody.

They finally cut the corn in front of my favorite stand. Normally it has been down for a month by now. I don't know if the deer will be on it yet or not but it feels great to be in my favorite spot for the first time all season. We have seen an increase in movement over the past few days as well on camera.
