3 does just came in down wind where the others ran. Even though they were safe they winded me and walked back rhe way they came. Couldn't imagine it was the 3 with the one I hit earlier. Who knows. A minute later a basket 8 milled about

Went for a little walk. I found that the does are very much in the area, they have been skirting around me without me even knowing it. Found a nice spot to ambush. Went down into the swamp that I was in last weekend. Fresh scrapes from last night popped up, and the rubs have been worked to. Not sure if I want to set up in the swamp. Because it is in a little bit of a valley, and from everything I know bucks only go down low at night. Is that correct to say? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just found first blood. Took 80 yards. Looks like the arrow may have come out and bleeding both sides. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Well no blood at impact. Found blood where he exited plot. 3 good spots of darker red blood. Went down into dry creek. Lost blood found what looked like scratch marks going up a bank. Found 3 little spots of blood. Exited trees into a small crp field. No more blood anywhere and no way of knowing which way he went. I'm by myself with no-one else around to call.
If i was a bit closer id come help you look.. Sent from my SM-G955U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Based on my experience I'd have to disagree with that. I've seen a ton of traffic in the thick valleys during the day in the hills of Missouri.
Saw 4 deer this morning. I caught the rear end of a deer about 60yds to my right moving through some thick stuff and had 3 other deer sneak up on me while I was looking the other direction. Don't they ever saw me move but they knew something wasn't right. One big doe held up at 25 yds and decided to make a detour rather than continue down the trail another 10ft and into my shooting lane... Also heard a buck grunting, called to him and even rattled a little bit but he wouldn't come in.
It isn’t really thick though more open then thick. But the bucks run is right on the edge of the thick stuff inside the swamp bordering it. He’s got a very clear rub line And open up a scrape right at a doe crossing pathway leading out of the swamp. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Going to get back on the search. My gut tells me it was lethal. My eyes and seeing these situations in person and on here tell me otherwise. Will update when possible
Well, I don't know as much as some of the guys on here but I'd sure be hunting there based on the sign and the terrain you've described.
