I'm going with the far north stand. You might get lucky to have a deer walk the red or orange line winding the timber. It will get you if they are out in the open to the east. JMO.
I got rained out. Checked the cam that is about 15 yards from the stand I usually sit in the morning. Had a giant cruise by at about 6:30 Tuesday??? I will be in this stand from here on out as long as I don't have a strong south wind! Pumped!!! Shadow, hang in there! You will get it done soon! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Well got down looked for arrow couldn't find it. Looked no blood decided to get back in stand found arrow. Clean miss. Hopefully shook all my errors out, and now start connecting. 3 misses. Messed up site. Branch and now gun rest. Beautiful cold windy morning tho
Damn dude sorry to hear that. The stuff we love so much to do certainly does suck sometimes. Hang in there, at least you’re seeing deer, LOL Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’m getting down. Saw three bucks and one doe. Nothing big enough to shoot though Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
One white hair. No blood no smell. Distance was 25 yards not 18. If I would have held my 25 yard single pin on him I would have killed him. Back to the drawing board. And as I was inspecting my arrow a 120 came to within 50 yards. I stalked to within 30 yards and drew. He looked right at me while broadside and trotted off. Anybody mind if I jump in on here. About to get down to business in the tree stand this afternoon. Couple more hours of work and then I'll be spending all my daylight hours in a tree for the next three days.
Well back in the house. Making coffee and grabing a sandwich. Then back out. Around 12:30 to sit till dark.
