At least I think I did. Real good buck chasing a pack of does. Hits my scent stream at 18 yards and locks up. Only 1 yard left and I have no shot before he disappears after the does. I hold lower 1/3rd and didn't see the arrow impact. Didn't hear any sound of impact. He bolted. I think I shot high. I'm beyond dejected. Best buck I've seen in years

Haven't checked for arrow yet or missing?

The only positive, not that it makes it any easier, is it is only Oct. 27th. The best is yet to come and you've been on the deer this year. Might be a blessing in disguise.

I'm not cut out to kill mature bucks. I should just stick with does.

I haven't gotten down yet to check. I'm nearly certain I missed. I'll check in 20 min or so

Funny, I believe I remember you talking about the chili last year. Sounds good, but I agree, that is the last thing you want to chow down on the night before an all day sit.................... :jaw:

Yes, is that an issue? I never have to worry about blinking again. My eyes are stuck open.

Help pick my stand for this afternoon, don't worry about details, just pick one. I can't decide, I leave it to you guys. All for fun, you guys/gals get the satisfaction of participation if the hunt goes well, if it fails, well...
Wind:S/SW 10mph. It's supposed to rain, but might be a light rain.
Stand 1: Very Top: Good pictures, haven't seen anything while sitting other than a small doe.
Stand 2: Middle: Only seen a small buck here, not many shooting lanes.
Stand 3: Bottom: Killed doe from here, see more deer from here.
