Hmm just seen a couple then the wind swirled a little and up come there heads and away they go. Then i see about 3 more tails behind them. Gonna blame it on forgetting my boots this morning.

In Wisconsin this weekend. I have a 30 acre bedding swamp to my nw. . Corn to east and west is up. Beans north west of swamp is picked. 37 degrees. 10+ mph wind from SW switching to nw. Lots of corn up.

Beautiful morning, sun is warming me up, super comfy, perfect wind...but no deer.
I’m gonna take a walk in a half hour or so and do some Stillhunting/scouting

That is the type of snow cover I like. Not enough to cover the browse and just enough to see deer from afar.

A little jealous of the snow as well as those bare trees

Yeah, something is amiss. My work has an annual chilli contest, about 7 teams compete in it. This year, for the first time since I started attending it, it is not on the day before my vacation starts. I was never able to fully enjoy it because I knew I would be hitting the road at 4:30am. Who wants to stuff themselves with chilli the night before a hunt

This time it is 2 days before I start my vacation, so I'm gonna chow down this time and hope it's cleared out by Friday morning.

Things are just kinda falling into place as we near November, it's kinda making me paranoid

You've never just driven with your head sticking out the window waiting for the windshield to defrost?
