Love public. Dude walks through to bait his spot with 25 minutes of light left. We had a conversation back at the car. He parked right behind me. Didn’t think anyone was hunting. He set up 100 yds from me. Didn’t see tape so he didn’t think anyone was back that far. SMH.

Here's the Field amd Stream best days of the rut. Only included up to mid November dates and also included yesterday as it can be a measuring stick. Nov. 25th was also one.

November 10th is the day to be in stand all day

Had a small buck chase a doe by me, grunted at them. They stopped and came in down wind. Didn't smell me. Ozonics must have worked. I also had doe estrus out, doe came in and peed. Squated and peed shortly after she was down wind of the pads

I'll be back out in the am.

    Saw 4 deer total tonight

I’ll be out for a very short sit tomorrow morning, in a stand that I have been hunting in the evenings at a county park, cut corn and I’m right inside the woods, least disruptive stand for how early I’m gonna have to get down, figured I would go wait for the cable guy so my dad can hunt all day since it was his birthday today and he didn’t get a chance to get out! See you all in the am!

Just sitting here doing a mental checklist for the weekend sits and realized I forgot how to dress comfortably for a cool day.

Only had a few near freezing sits the past few years and they usually warmed into the 60's or so.

I'm either gonna freeze or sweat

Sounds absolutely beautiful compared to FL 85+ heat lol and you don't need to harvest your kill 0.053 seconds after it's down
