In all reality, you need to pick a healthy tree. Watch the abuse that a tree takes during the summer when the wind blows. Even 200 lbs of vertical weight won't make a difference to a good healthy tree.
Back at it again,. Totally new spot,. Did some in season scouting and found this spot,. Lots of buck sign. Only one thing when I was walking in I kicked up a deer. It was bedded 75 feet away from the property owners yard. It ran towards where I wanted to go. He /she ran west of where I wanted to go. I didn't see any head gear. It could have been a little buck, body wasn't big
Yeah, there's a few sites out there like that. Graphics differ and such but what you see is the same models all the meteorologists use to be wrong so often. Except they get paid for it. Not to stray too far off, but if you ever dabble around with it just remember its a computer generated forecast and not very accurate beyond 2-3 days and even then little differences yield big changes. That's where edumacation comes into play and resources to compare said data and find the bias and discrepancies of each model. So ready for tomorrow to be over with, ready to get in a stand
Old spot, new tree. Didn't.like.how.i was getting looked.at last time I was in this area. Now.when they look in the tree I used to use, I will already be done drawing. Had a group of really big does in here last weekend. Maybe one would like to come live in my freezer. Good luck to all. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
