Was looking at the weather forecast for Friday here, and it looks really good. So good in fact that I predict I will have "stomach issues" and be unable to make it in to work that day. LOL Maybe nobody will be there on a Friday. Yeah right.

Back at it tonight finally feels like fall here. Been seeing lots of buck pics think things are going to ramp up soon.
Moving in a little closer tomorrow on a target buck. About 400 yards from where I think he beds. Hunting a small trail that leads into doe bedding that is about 200 yards from where I think he beds....maybe he will be a little late to get back to bed and on some does rear. Here is to wishful thinking....plucking around the core hoping he makes a mistake. Not too close to it for another week or so.
I just got up, new hang and hunt spot tonight. Tonight mostly looking for a doe and if a buck shows up, great! About 30 yards away is some fresh scrapes. Noticed a good group of does coming out of here last week.

Well you guys all will probably think I’m unemployed but I’m back out again!!!!! No meetings set up for this afternoon and it’s the slow time of the year for loan officers. Wasn’t planning on being out but my haircut ended early so here I am, the front has arrived and it is beautiful out!!! Just wish my barber didn’t put gel in my hair!!!! Soaked my hair with scent killer so hopefully that takes care of it, but it was a fruity smelling one so maybe that will bring them in!!!! Good luck all who are out. Well pulled card before I got in my stand. Big 10 I would love to get a shot at was 15 yards from my stand Friday morning. My wife had to have gallbladder removed so we were still in hospital. Have 2 new small bucks haven't seen before. Roll Tide Roll
