    This morning was one of those mornings where I shudder in disgust at the thought of not being in the tree. It was perfect. Goodluck to those who are lucky enough to be out. Snow in the forecast for this week.

    Had a yearling buck early. Then about 8:45 had 3 does and 2 fawns make an appearance. Put an arrow in one of the does. Now wait time. It was a beautiful but very calm morning. [​IMG]

    Well the wait to track got more interesting. A nice big 8 showed up in the tree line to the east of me. He spent the last 30 minutes at about threat range but always in the trees. Turns out he was trailing and winding some doe and proceeded to start chasing them. Thought I might have a chance for s double this morning. Great to watch nonetheless. Definitely about time for the bucks to be out and about chasing girls. Now to go find that doe.

    Well I am “working” got a chance to looks through the trail cam videos, here’s the nice buck that I was talking about this morning [​IMG]
    I know it’s a crappy picture but looks like he is a 5 or 7, can’t tell if he has brows but he is legal, cane through the 20th at 11:30am. Had a video from the 18th of a buck that was similar sized chasing two doe. Think I’ll be in that stand again tomorrow morning!!! Just gotta get through the work day lol
