    Just pulled up to the spot and getting ready to walk in. Almost hit a deer on the drive here, so maybe that's a good sign. 39 and a bit windy here so we'll see if anything's moving.

    Woke up at 430 and decided the conditions weren't right for what I wanted to do. 55 with light winds won't allow me into the spot I wanted to hunt. Should be 45 degrees with 10 mph winds tomorrow morning so that's when I'll hit it. Hate to miss a morning but don't want to be dumb.

    Slept in but I made to my spot at daylight. 1/2 hr late,. Soft to walk in didn't bump anything. Don't think I did.

    Just had a deer blow about 75-100 yards away. Think it was at me. The thermals are kicking in and this gentle wind is starting to switch direction. Got to love this game!

    Heading out. 1 hr till sunrise. 36 degrees here is a far cry from the 81 I sat in Monday. Very light NW winds.

    I'm sitting here and my nose is so stuffed up I can barely breath. Then all of a sudden that smell of rutting buck just hit me in the face! Don't know why a smell so bad, makes you feel so good! I might have one near this morning!
