Well, I'm not hunting today, but I'm doing a project where a huge tavern is being converted to a bank. Seems they left in a hurry and I scored about 40 bottles of booze. Bonus!!

Yeah, it is my nemesis. Shot 3" under a 160'ish clean 10 back in 2012 and it has haunted me ever since. That was my best and last chance at one. Had one back on Dec. 20 2010 that came out and worked a scrape on the other side of a tree island 16yds away but never presented anything close to a shot and had another 150-160, year fails me, on a hot doe but was no getting his attention. Turned the grunt tube into a kazoo trying. Actually have him and the kazoo on film Other than that I have just lost patience and let lack of sightings get the best of me and I settled for less. Hoping to change that this year. Have an 8, 9, 11, and 12 on the wall or euroed. Have a spot reserved for Mr. 10
Wed through Friday here in northern Virginia the bucks will start moving a bit following the rain storm and cooler temps rolling in. Frankie...keep at it!

Back in the blind. Had to go run some errands. Hope they move this evening like they did this morning. Had deer tracks in my boot tracks when I returned so missed seeing some while I ran to town. Good luck to those who are lucky enough to be hunting this afternoon
All set up and ready for something to walk by. Ended up goin to differenr spot than last night. Maybe shouldn't have with the action that was there but oh well. Wind is gusting little which is making this being first sit in this stand little more un-nerving, but got harness and three straps plus harness tie down will haveta break before I hit the ground so i can't be that unlucky.
