Well, I headed out early(as usual), set up in the viper well before light in the same tree a saw a mature 10 yesterday. Heard a deer moving trough but was too dark to make out. Heard some turkeys cutting, felt like it was going to be a great morning. Twenty minutes after light a hunter comes walking from where I expected deer, posted up on a tree about 60 yards away and lit up a cig.. Stuck around for about 35 mins, smoked three cigs then continued down the draw. Got to love lazy public land hunters. It's all for fun tho so I'm not mad, just part of it.

All settled in, in a new spot. Temps going to be warm, low 70’s tbut Friday and Saturday are the only days I can hunt so I’m out here!! Found a nice spot in a swamp, that looks like a bucks playground with rubs everywhere. I am in for a bite of lunch. Going back out in a couple of hours. No deer this morning. Pulled my card and found 4 yotes and what appears to be bobcat?? I spooked something bigger than a squirrel but smaller than a deer this morning right before legal light. I didn't know what but now think it was a yote! Too bad it didn't come back!!!!
