Dang. The neighbor sounds like he's pushing over trees next to me. He can't be 200yds. Sure hope he calls it quit soon and doesn't work until dark. Ah the joys of hunting land with permission
My Parents, their neighbor and my sister are looking for deer meat for the freezer. That means a green light on a Doe during the rest of my trip! :-) Take care of that itchy trigger finger. Oh yeah, and maybe some backstrap for me. Can never have too much. And yes, still looking for BIG antlers!!!
Sounds like NJ hunting. Lawn mowers, cars, people walking, dogs running about, 4 wheelers, weed whackers and on and on and on!!!
120lb basket 5 pt just walked through. Very white antlers. Walked through so quick I couldn't get a pic.
Lol yeah pretty much. I'm sure the deer are used to it. The neighbors run a Christmas tree farm. I just don't think they will show up until he is done. Fingers Crossed. Either way it's a good day. Sitting here with the wind in my face. All is good
All set up in Kentucky. The last time I was in this tree was two years ago and I killed a nice nine point. That was the 1st of November though. Still, it's a great spot.
I'm such an idiot, decided to sit I the tree line where I'm gonna put my blind and had a doe walk down the trail and spot me and blow... how long should i wait to hunt that spot now... was hoping to get in it tomorrow now I'm not sure, it was only 1 doe Sent from my SM-G930P using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I wouldn't let that stop me at all. The biggest buck I ever killed I shot with a muzzleloader 15 minutes after I shot a doe that blew at me.
I decided against going that deep. I’m overlooking a community rub.. was hoping to catch an eager young buck on his feet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My camera shows everything is walking at night but I'm out hoping the camera is lying. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
