Shooting handheld release. Used to do the same thing as you but since I switched up I've been trying to zero in on the right one before I buy the back up. Had a second buck through and was tempted. Not sure if it was 7 or 8 points but either way a young deer. Good morning for me but work is callin so I'm out for today. Good luck guys!

So I’ve got a dilemma, do I hunt the easy access stand tonight, or the one that they were cutting corn by the other evening, or do I make that trip straight up the mountain and hunt over a fresh rub and scrap. I will be hunting over the rub and scrape on Saturday. Any input? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
They were cutting the corn here last night and there was about a dozen standing 10 yards from the parked combine just before dark. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
The cut corn stand is looking to be the favorite based on the wind Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
All my homework for the weekend is DONE!!!! Can't wait to hit the woods tomorrow around noon after my Dr. appointment at the VA!!!! All day sit on saturday!
Tempted to go deeeeeeep.... Not sure if it's a wise decision in case of a health emergency, or If I get one, (stop laughing!!) it might create a health emergency trying to get him out of there!
It’s about a 2 mile walk, on the trail with some rough terrain, as you can tell by the Contor lines. I want to go south/ south west to the saddle, from my most northerly markings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm in my kill spot. Hot, 72, buggy. But this is how it was last year when I shot the 120" here. Couple good scrapes on the way in. Probs nothing going to happen for the next 2.5 hrs but we will see.
Back in the ground blind. Had to leave at 8:30 this morning to take care of some business. Camera says deer were here while I was gone. Lots of mid morning to late morning movement down this way. Good luck to those who are lucky enough to be hunting this afternoon.
Had to take off work, early, for a doctor's appointment. Convienently, the appointment was over in time for me to sneak into the woods for a few hours. Just need the deer to show up now.
Just got settled in, wind is not the direction I need it, still cutting corn across the road. The past 2 sits have been similar situations here, not expecting much but you can’t kill them sitting on the couch so who knows Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The green in the middle is swamp. The other small opening, is the clearance section for helicopter landing for a medical evacuation. Edit. I’ve been down there a few times, that area has a lot of hemlock trees, and Pinetree’s. It’s only thick near the swamp edge. In the swamp is all low brush, not really for betting What you thinking?
