    One is better than than the other..

    I seen that thread.. is there some inside joke Im missing or? I understand questions where people just dont have the experience and just dont know, but that one? I get its probably a troll post but where did it gets its life from?

    Well I found my arrow snapped off look like between 10 and 12inches of penetration but I can't find any blood idk if I'm doing something wrong or what but I've followed the trails he looked to be headed and found nothing I didn't have any blood on my arrow either waiting for my dad to get up and help me look

    All I'm saying Pitman, is a pass thru in the ass isn't better that a non pass thru that hits the off shoulder and takes out both lungs.
    I just don't get Shane asking this question. I've seen the deer he's killed. Question seemed weird to me. JMO

    That what I'm thinking but u should still have some blood even if he mostly bleeding internally and if I hit the shoulder I still had to pass through if I got 11 inches of penetration so I had to hit Vitals or am I way off on my thinking

    I don't think you're way off. Need more info on the position of the deer and angle of the shot.

    Quartering toward me just a little bit when I drew back my bow made a loud vibrating noise and spooked him other wise he was broadside I was 20 feet in a tree he was around 22 yards away

    Hard to say. That's a real good scenario. I'd take it every time. I shot a doe like that. There was very little blood externally. She bled out inside. It took a while to find her.

    I've had a one lung shot before. It was the off lung. We looked for almost 5 miles. We finally lost the blood trail and foot prints in a cut bean field.
    There may have been more arrow sticking out of the deer. I'm just saying, that it may have not broken off flush with his side.

    Yeah I think he's still alive walk the entire area of land found no blood or deer giving up on this one I'm sure he still alive
