After the hunt, go home and set it at 25 yards then practice holding over/under. You'll never have this problem again.

I have always liked a one pin adjustable sight but never have had one because of that reason.

Just like Cantexian said above, I keep mine set at 25 yards. If I'm rushed I know to aim about 2 1/2 inches low at 20 yards and 2 1/2 inches high at 30 yards (my arrows are heavy and slow). If I'm not rushed I adjust the dial.

I hunted for years with a 7 pin sight, but my top pin was set at 25 and I used the same routine.

It was 32 degrees this morning, and what did I do? I took my daughters car to get an oil change, before she goes back to college. She had to work (she takes care of the calves at the farm 1/2 mile away) so she could go to work I took her car, she took my TRK. The farmer has told her anytime she is home she can come work on the farm / calves.

It would have been a good day by the post of most you with cold temps.

I'll be out this afternoon thou

I like afternoons this time of the year much better. Feel like they are always way more productive.

    And keep at it Jim!

I know how you feel, Jim, but a clean arrow is better than one with just a little bit of blood.

Don’t say that! It’s never over. Lol. I had a doe blow at me and she stood there and blew and blew. I wanted to scream at her. That’s right about when a 2.5 y.o. 8 pt popped his head out of the thicket in front of me to see what all the commotion was. I drew back on him at 10 yds for practice but chose not to kill him. Just surprised that they will come investigate like that

Just switched location and jumped one coming in, not sure what it was but it took off crashing through the woods.

If the wind is right and the deer wasn't blowing at you, hunt it. Deer run through the woods every day.

Really missing my lone wolf stand right now. I'm sitting in this piece of s#@t big game stand. I dont dare to put my lw on private property in fear of a thief. I keep them on public. This crap stand just feels so unsafe. Ugh!
