Just starter looking. Not sure what to think, arrow is pretty clean. A few white hairs and pinprick spots of blood. Nothing at impact. Wondering if I just scratched enough to make it sting. It has been an hour. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Give her at least 4 hours if you can. She probably bedded near by. I lost a buck last year on a one lung hit. I only gave him 2 hours.
So far one doe followed by a fork horn. Let them walk hoping a better buck may be following. 10 minutes later big hog came by but wouldn't give me a shot. Wind is back up. Changing directions and rocking the tree.
Go slow I had one act like that several years ago. Gave her 4 hours and found her 80 yards away she required a second shot. Good luck withthe recovery.
Gone about 100 yards so far. Its been 2 1/2 hours since the shot. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Best blood I have seen in the last hour. Hopefully going in and out of the little ravine opened her up more. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

I have left the woods. I do not think I killed this deer. I lost blood after 200 yards. I followed in into and out a ravine. At last blood I was on a ridge top that went 200 yards in everything directions. I grid searched the ridge top until I hit the State Park boundary. I couldn’t go anything further. I covered around 400 yards, lost blood around 200, and never found a bed. I think I hit low on the leg with a flesh wound. Blood drops were pinprick size the last time I saw them.
